Verifying your NW Scheme |
Dear Andy, Thank you for registering with Neighbourhood Watch. I am the membership administrator for Suffolk Neighbourhood Watch, and I notice that you have recently created a new scheme “Sebert Wood and Darcy Close, in Moreton Hall, Bury St Edmunds” and nominated yourself as the main coordinator. To help me verify the proposed scheme and yourself as the nominated main coordinator, I would be very grateful if you could just answer some quick questions which will help satisfy the approval process. As a registered member of Neighbourhood Watch, do you agree with the values and code of ethics and standards of behaviour? Is there a specific reason for wanting to start up a scheme? Have you approached your neighbours/community to make them aware of your intention to start a scheme, and has there been sufficient interest? How many properties does the scheme intend to cover? (please provide the range of house numbers if only part of a road or roads are to be included By completing these details, it helps confirm that you are acting on behalf of a community, rather than just as an individual, as I'm sure you will appreciate that we cannot verify schemes with just a single member! Please note that best practice is to encourage your neighbours (as potential members of your scheme) to also register with Neighbourhood Watch and join your scheme. Once I have verified and approved your scheme and your role, you will be able to manage your scheme by logging in to your account and using the Neighbourhood Watch Tool from the menu bar. In addition, as the registered main coordinator, this also provides you access to the Suffolk NW website, and the dedicated Coordinator page, which offers additional information to help you with your scheme. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes Tony Spall | ||
